Hailstones

The weather is still most unsettled today and the wind’s still whistling, it rained from time to time, the skies were blue one minute, grey to black the next and the wind chill factor was very noticeable when out and about.  Most of the day I was happily ensconced in a nice warm office and enjoyed the lunch hour in the Festival Centre (also warm) with my dear friend Susan who’s just back from her ‘Incredible Train Journeys' holiday in Switzerland which she shared with me and which experience is yet another to-do item on my Bucket List!!
 

A late drive home from work and in a terrific hail storm.  My little camera perched on the dashboard caught the moment admirably.
