Hyperechia marshalli

This shot shows the huge eyes, but for the rest, I found it quite difficult to get much detail because it is so dark black all over, difficult to see different textures, love the hairy legs and the strip of white hair across the back though!

Eish, I blipped one on 8 March and at first thought they were the same, but my dear Z -MissU2 showed me the difference and named it as Xylocopa caffra, I Googled quite a bit, but to no avail. 


'One Year Ago'  -  Yesterday's Birthday Girl: Gesiggie. I am so sorry, but I couldn't get anything particularly nice of her this weekend when Ronnie and Anrie visited.  :-(
