A Big Mystery

Several days ago a nearby intersection was shut down so these huge things could cross, then were parked where the freeway ends.

There were two, now there's only one.

Unfortunately, this was the best photo out of the handful I took.

No idea what the hell it is, but it is HUGE.


So, went to the gun range today. Got there after they were done letting people on the range, but that's okay. We got to look at quite a few nice guns.

On the way to the gun range some asshat decided to merge into our truck. I know merging can be annoying and all, but I was in the lane left of the one they were merging into. They just decided to merge into us as well. So I came to a stop on the highway and blasted the horn at them.

Good news? I reacted fast enough and we didn't get in an accident.

The bad news? Even though I rationally know that I wasn't the one that almost caused a serious accident, I still feel like I did something wrong.

But we're fine! And I was able to keep on driving, though it took me a bit to calm down.
