Defying the gales.
Some sunshine this morning and this afternoon but as I walked up to Pilates class mid morning it was starting to hail and was still doing so when I came out!
Bin collection day in our part of the village and they were blowing all over the place.
I went out to photograph the Anamone Blanda but they were staying firmly shut despite the early sun.
These two pots of pansies have been planted by Chris and they are currently standing one on each set of steps up to the back garden. They remain un battered by the gales and look lovely and bright. They will eventually be moved to the wall at the top and bottom of our drive which currently has pots of small daffs, also planted by Chris.
When the summer comes he will in turn replace these by Fuchsias.
I hope the summer does come, the spring certainly seems to be struggling. So much for 'March coming in like a Lion and going out like a lamb'!
