First blipfoto

I wondered what would be my first blipfoto as I pulled weeds and trimmed shrubs. On my way inside to get my camera to capture fading rhododendron blooms, I saw this dead hummingbird on my deck. I intended to focus on the ruby throat of this beautiful, tiny and weightless bird. It is hard to tell what is the focus - my hand or the bird.
My name is redorange (which I chose over a month ago), the hummingbird's throat is redorange and I held it, not intentionally, in my dining room facing my living room walls and rug - which are ..... As always, I cannot stop my brain from making all kinds of connections.
