Mystery planter

My sister and I were admiring her lovely freshly potted plants when I suddenly noticed (after how many years???) the planter.
Look at it closely - they are possibly medieval carvings?
We looked again, surely, Adam and Eve, the serpent in the tree; a vengeful Angel, expelling them from Eden; then is that not Adam and Eve digging their own plot, fending for themselves?
Where is it from? How come it's outside her cottage? What is its story????
