Over The Hill And Far Away

Not a reference to my age or mental state.... yet :-)

Apologies for lack comments on journals for the past couple of days, it seems to have been busy. Hope to rectify in due course. Caught up with a couple of back blips for the weekend.

Lovely sunny morning but bitterly cold in the wind again. Only two dogs to walk today but we did do a bit extra!

We went a long a path that I knew existed but we  have never been up before as it leads to a road with no footpath.

However, half way along there is a stile - this is the view over the stile with path disappearing over the hill. There was no animal 'run through' and I didn't really feel up to lifting two 27kg dogs over, so we turned round at this point

We did pass a field full of very pregnant sheep - one of which had fallen on its back - and was squirming around waving its legs about! Eventually it wriggled to a small incline (whether by design or chance I don't know) and it suddenly rolled over on to its front. Very funny to watch, but not so funny for the sheep I guess.
