Good morning world!

He was up at 5.30 a.m. (before the sun) for his early appointment this morning!  The wind was howling and the rain pouring!  By 7 the sun was breaking through the clouds and the lighting on the trees was really lovely and then I spotted  the rainbow!  A quick dash into the garden, camera in hand - blip sorted!  So there are some advantages to being up at some unearthly hour after all.  Neither the rainbow nor I stayed out long.  Unfortunately just long enough to catch a few spot of rain on the lens protection cover but with a sleepy day ahead (after the ironing is done) I can't see us having much "blip time" today so, here you have our rainbow on what looks like a lovely, but windy, day.
