Kohandamodara Beach lagoon

We arrived in Colombo on Sunday afternoon and came to where we are staying on the south coast as it was getting dark.

Next day an early walk along the beach provided lots of interest. I could have posted a nice picture of a  great thick-knee but this sets the context better
