The Lady in the Red Hat

A very busy day to start a very busy week, one in which scheduling will be a priority for my health as well as my sanity.

Sandwiched between a very productive morning and late afternoon was a birthday lunch for my father-in-law.

As we left the restaurant there was a large contingent of women outside in red hats. It wasn't long before I found myself in a friendly conversation with one of these young lady's. She revealed the origin and continuing comings and goings of the group all the while smiling away.

In the midst of things it was the perfect smile moment to carry me through the rest of my day.
