Mono Monday - Chess board

Patterns was a very hard topic for me.  I see them everywhere - but to get them to show up in the photo the way I want them to ... well, it was tough.

After we looked at my first attempts, my daughter suggested a chess board - and we had a lot of fun setting it up and taking shots from several directions.  I am pleased with this photo.
