Ridge walk

Another clear, calm day and we went for a Sunday ascent of La Roche, the highest peak on the island at 356m. The final part is a traverse of this extremely narrow ridge. Normally you can go along a bit lower down but with no wind about it felt safe to go right along the top. After ten minutes enjoying the peak I realised I hadn't left much time to cook the night's roast dinner so pretty much had to run down to get it all in the oven.
