A chance missed, again

Today Newport travelled to not so sunny Carmarthen to face them in the 1/4 final of the Swalec cup. 

After a torrid season, a win here would of taken some of the hurt away and after beating them at home in January there was a chance of us upsetting the odds. 

The game started and the Quins were all over us and all hope started to fade away. But then out of the blue Newport came back with 3 tries and it felt like the sun was shining, although it wasn't and Newport were in front at half time 13-21. 

The second half, in short, was full of missed opportunities for Newport and with an intercepted pass and a fumbled ball both ending in tries, Quins took their few chances well. In the end it was another loss for Newport but a much better effort was seen.
