This morning while Miles was still having fun at Nana's house, my friend came over to watch the girls while Mitch and I went to brunch and then shopped for new appliances. Later in the day the girls and I went shopping for new pajamas as they have officially outgrown their 0-3 month jammies. I told Miles we were going to go on a date tonight (which was grocery shopping and McDonalds...don't judge me!) and when we were leaving he asked if we were walking or driving and when I said driving he told me, "but it's only a special date if we walk!" Apparently he loves our special walking dates to Starbucks the best. He also told me today that he was going to buy me "new shoes and a shirt and pants and a basketball" for my birthday. Such a sweetheart.
