Beach at Limekiln Gill

I had a brief visit to the beach at Limekiln Gill, its on the East Durham coast near to Horden, the beach is gradually coming back to life after years of being used as a dumping ground for waste from the local Colliery now long gone.
It's part of the Durham Heritage trail and worth a visit if you're in the area. The transformation of the area is amazing considering it was once just a dumping ground, nature is clawing back the beach bit by bit.
