Inside an Oil Tank

I went over to the museum on Hoy at Lyness and went into the huge oil tank that has been converted into a display area. Kind of a spooky space- there is a continual film being projected onto one wall and the commentary echoes around the structure. Very interesting weather outside with squalls of snow and hail. They made a tremendous drumming on the roof of the main museum building. I'd looked forward to a coffee in the cafe so of course it was shut due to an electrical problem.
