Appointment in Duns this afternoon, and a short walk with Louie afterwards. Shorter than intended as the wind was getting up and it was bitter! Still seems quite wintry here - trees still very bare - but there are carpets of wild garlic. A little bit of sunshine and the smell of Spring will fill the air!

Mr M went down to 'look at' (as fishermen do...) the River Blackadder, and Louie was rather concerned about his disappearance. But not worried enough to venture down the steps himself...
