Forsythia
Very little wildlife in the garden today, it has been raining hard and the wind has been gusting with sufficient strength to scatter some items of the building material left outside, about the garden. In addition it has torn the felt roof off of the garden shed; another job for me to do. Today’s blip is therefore the view of the Forsythia, which contains one of the bird feeders visible through the window behind the kitchen sink, on which I have photographed numerous birds on previous occasions.
This was once a really beautiful bush, but our previous builders, not our current ones, decided for no good reason to hack a large part of it down; it had not been in their way. It might eventually regrow to something like its original shape, but I am not terribly optimistic.
