As there was no let-up in the rain today, I headed out for the gym. This is kind of a double take , showing part of the screen that allows me to set my cardio programme on the treadmill, adjust the speed and gradient (if it begins to become a bit ferocious!). The insert is the read-out at the end of a 13 minute warm-up. Only 77 calories burned, but I went on to burn quite a few more with 30 minutes on a bike. This is all in the name of building my fitness to get back on the canal paths on my proper bike when this miserable cold wet weather disappears.
