Iris detail

It has been warm but not sunny today and the Tramontane has been blowing.  Fortunately, we are sheltered from the full force of this wind in our valley.  It is the sort of wind that can last for days and drive you mad.  The day was spent mostly on chores, cleaning and letter writing.  The builder promises to come on Thursday and I hope that will be the end of our problem of waste waters leaking through the wall.  Irises are one of my favourite flowers.  I love their shape, colours and form.
