People on a Bridge

Nice words

I applied for the MSU Women's Club scholarship, which required two letters of recommendation. I asked a colleague from landscape architecture, and my major professor to write them.

I do what I do, try to be the best version of myself so that I can live without regrets, but I don't expect anybody to pay attention. And yet, in their letters, I recognized myself; their words sounded "true".  I was moved by what they wrote; I liked the person they claim I am.

Though, of course, I have to wonder: as these were letters of recommendation, they contained only the good; what would have been the bad, had they had to write it?
