The last of the cold?????

Went for a walk this AM in the hopes I would see some "spring" birds. I did see a few robins  but didn't get any great photos. A red tail was hanging out  on a tree but not one I could get close to, and there was a branch in the way of its face. I got a really cute photo of a goldfinch in the ditch with frosty grass all around but when I actually got to look at it it had moved just enough when I took the photo that it's face was blurred. Then I came across this frosty little leaf. So, while I had hoped for a nice  spring shot, this little guy , hopefully a last vestige of winter, was my best technical picture.
