Are We Keeping You Up?

The young Master H was the one to drag us out of bed, first thing this morning, and after only a couple of hours, he was looking like he was wishing he hadn't.

Beloved eventually joined us, well after twenty odd cars had finished driving round in circles in Kuala Lumpur. We went out for lunch today, to a pub we've not been to before. It was very good, with well prepared and served food plus a nice pint of locally brewed ale.

Throughout most of our meal, Master H slept, waking up just in time to share some of Beloved's dessert. We brought him in from the car still in his car seat, where he nestled between tables for the next hour or so. Before long though, it was time to leave and the small matter of payment presented itself. Whether it was a simple IT failure or something to do with the torrential rain we'd had over lunch, the card machine refused to take payment. It has previously refused another customer too. As we'd only a small amount of cash on us and since it is now school holidays, we left Misses I & C at the pub on washing up duties for the next few days, promising to collect them at some time during next week.
