Village daffs.

I noticed yesterday that the daffodils on both the routes through our Village were now well out.

This road that leaves the centre of the village and heads down to Bingley has lots of them as you can see. The other road to Wilsden has clusters around the trees. In another month all these trees will be full of pretty pink blossom.

It has been sunshine and showers today and it was raining a bit when I took this on my way up to church.
Palm Sunday today which made me think of Palma again as there will be parades in the streets to the cathedral as well as in other towns throughout the island. In preparation branches of Palm on balconies and shutters (inset). They are either natural Palm branches like this or elaborately plaited ones that can be bought at the florists.I like the natural ones best.
Holy Week, Santa Semana, is very important all over Spain with many parades and this is the start of it.
As usual we got out little Palm crosses this morning.
