I've been to a marvellous party

Two chums were married at the Norwich Puppet Theatre and held their post-wedding party at the Norwich Arts Centre.  I was completely amazed by how a pretty ordinary music venue had been transformed into what can only be described as a wonderland.  There were flamingos (not live ones!) everywhere, garlands and garlands of paper flowers, a photo wall with dressing up box which people could (and did) dive into, pick some of the wild and wonderful accessories and take photos of each other, bubble sticks for people to blow and some fabulous music.  A lovely, fun evening hosted by a really lovely couple who will shortly be jetting off to the US for two weeks.

Tom is a musician and this photo is of a little bit of art which topped a three-tier pile of drums.  At first I thought it was the wedding cake.

I hope to catch up with everyone's journals soon.  I'm ready for the 6-day weekend which is approaching at the end of this week.  Lots of things I could get involved with but I think I need some down time.
