We woke up at 7am after our wee nap the night before progressed into a 12 hour sleep. Jos and I checked out of the hostel despite not really knowing where we were travelling to next, and spent the rest of the day planning and plotting the next part of our trip. We didn't have much choice as to our next destination as Trujillo seems to be the only place buses go to from Huaraz. We decided to head to Huanchaco once we got there, a small surf town with a nice beach, and booked our buses in the afternoon.

This photo is from inside the bus at 11.30pm, shortly after the driver's film of choice 'Soul Surfer' finished. Since he was the only one on the bus who could turn the TVs off and he was pretty busy driving, once it had finished we were forced to watch and listen to the DVD menu for the next 6 hours.
