color 2
today my entry might be called storm approaching over tropical sea. or something like that.
this is the second entry in a series on color. each shot has two parts. the first is what is seen. the second what is left to imagine. the palette is colored paint on found objects. the job of the photographer (me) is to make the translation from the tangible to the intangible, from the general to the personal.
this is sounding rather academic, i know. but in fact, this idea came from those who commented as to what they saw in yesterday's blip. a stormy sea at sunset. a purple snowfield with a hint of tree line on the horizon. to you all, a big thanks for helping send me down this path.
for reference, here are the pairings so far:

color 2 / color 2a
