Owl!

Took L to the village Easter egg hunt this morning and they had a local chap who has birds of prey. He had 2 owls that had been hand reared and so were very used to people. We were allowed to stroke them. He also had this Asian owl, but had only had him 4 weeks so he wasn't used to people.
The handler then brought out a hawk which he flew and slightly ironic love you fed it baby chicks!

L thought they were amazing and got up close to the hawk. So close it managed to sneeze on her!

In other news, hubby rescued a baby rabbit this morning from our cat (Leo) and our neighbours cat (Mia) who had got the poor thing cornered. I was on cat Harding duty while hubby captured the little thing and released it in the woods as it was unharmed.
