Goosander (male)

I stopped off on Riverside Drive to take another photo of the daffodils, but spotted some goosanders down on the river - and this fine fellow came right out of the water, possibly hoping that I had food with me.  He seemed to have a bit of a limp, and his walking was quite penguin-like.  

The daffodils have not come out very much since last week;  I'll try again next week.
