After a wander around Lima in the morning, our plans to find a museum or visit another area slowly fell apart as the afternoon disappeared and we were still chilling at the hostel. We bought some food from the supermarket and made a mediocre chilli for dinner. Afterwards we got a colectivo to Barranco with our new pal Andy and visited a hostel where a friend of his was camping. We all headed out to a bar afterwards and had gin and chips while we watched free jazz. When I took this photo I thought Lima was a bit of a dive, but Barranco and it's jazz bar convinced me later on that it could actually be quite cool.
