Keeping your eye on the ball

What a dismal and damp day it's been! So have made the most of it, attending my monthly sewing workshop in the morning in Clitheroe and sorting paperwork out this afternoon.
There seemed to be a lot of surface water everywhere, so it must have rained heavily in the night.
Got all togged up to go out for a walk a couple of times only to realize it was just too wet and took my waterproofs and the lead off. Hector couldn't understand what was going on. We did eventually manage it, only just!
