Engaged...

... in the democratic process today. 

Out canvassing in support of the local candidate in May's general election. 

Saturday afternoon isn't an ideal time to be going round ringing people's doorbells - lots not at home.

I was invited inside by a former client and his wife - nice friendly gossip and catch up. 

I did get one bloke out of the shower - or off the wife - hard to tell. 

We're not trying to convince anyone to vote for us - only to find out their voting intentions. 

If nothing else I got plenty fresh air (at 30 mph/40kph out of the northwest) and a bit of gentle exercise. No dog bites. No excessively rude home owners. No-one vandalised the car.
