Dining al fresco again

My son had his first written Welsh GCSE paper today. He wasn't at all bothered about it (having not done any work at all) but was slightly concerned that he didn't know where the room where he was taking the exam was. I offered to take him to school early so he could find out where the room was. After his GCSE, he had a drama exam followed by a physics exam. When he got home, he said that all three exams had gone well.
I decided to work from home today and I waded through a mountain of exam papers.
At 3pm, I watched the webcam of the Olympic torch being carried through my hometown Pwllheli. I've never seen so many people line the streets before. Even the colourful carnivals of the seventies didn't attract such numbers.

Daughter #1 came home from school, opened the fridge door and two full bottles of milk smashed on the floor. What a mess. She usually goes kayaking on a Monday evening but she said that she couldn't go tonight because she had lots of homework. Daughter #2 went to a friend's house after school but came home in time to have a barbie with us in the garden.
My son's got three more exams tomorrow (Chemistry, Spanish & Geography) but did very little revision tonight. Hubby asked him to write on the fridge the marks that he thinks he will get for each exam (after taking the exams).
