No, Archie!
Another relaxed morning, before an energetic walk along the Braid Burn, up over Blackford Hill, and the bus home. It was SO windy on the hill - it actually helped me as it was from behind, and I was definitely flagging by that time...
Lots of dogs to meet and LOTS of mud to run through! What a state he was in when we got home. He had a hose down outside and a warm shower after that.
We had a lovely evening with our two young visitors (relatives from America). They loved the apple crumble with the yellow sauce (custard!). Archie was a bit stand-offish, and kept well away from them, despite their best efforts. Perhaps it was the American accents.
The visitors brought an Easter egg. I have studiously avoided even looking at these in shops - which is HARD - but I'm afraid this one will have to be eaten. I haven't had any chocolate for weeks - I'm trying very hard to diet after a big shock at a weigh-in at the hospital the other week - but if I gobble it quickly, it won't count...
Archie looks like he's offering to help, but it would have an even WORSE effect on him if he ate it.
PS The deed is done!
