Chocolate church night number 2

Wow what a reception. When we finished peopled yelled encore! Tonight if they do we wil be able to do another song! Yay!
This was such a fun night.
So here are some things about performing in a show........oh yes people time for a list.

1) I am a bit irritated by having to wear makeup. Now I never wear make up. I actually prefer my white skin. I have been told my arms are luminous......and not in a nice way. Thank goodness I only have to do my face.
2) Oh and the mascara, stings like a bear when it gets into your eyes.
3) Wait until you stop laughing or stop if you start when applying lipstick.
4) toothpaste will get lipstick off of your face when some mean band member makes you laugh and it "misses the mark"
5) remember to re apply foundation after said lipstick incident. People are not polite when you have an affliction. They stare.
6) this makes you look like a bear a brown bear with the funny face thing.
7) one can get tired of wearing the same thing night after night.
8) being afraid of the stage manager makes it easy not to risk changing the outfit.
9) when the afore mentioned stage manager yells your act....you best get a move on.
10). The sound men ........are gods. Chat them up, bring them baked goods, smile at them.
11) when the "pit" musicians play along with you, be gracious ( I am learning this) because in a random conversation you will learn that their music backgrounds are Impressive.
12) Engage the audience and make them part of the performance. A laugh goes a long way.....
13) and .... Have fun that's why we do this!
