Leicester Glows

The finale to the re-interment of Richard 111 was a stunning light show given the title Leicester Glows.
It consisted of 8000 terracotta wax filled bowls set in and around the Cathedral and the streets surrounding the area.
A large wire framed horse was set in Jubilee Square surrounded by the flames. The Cathedral gardens looked wonderful with the bowls set into the shubbery and along the low walls and surrounding the statue of Richard. A firework took place from the roof of the Cathedral (I missed that bit) and the spire itself was floodlit......
All in all a fabulous end to a wonderful week for the city....
I might go and see the tomb nest week if the queues aren`t to bug
