The Old and the New

The bridge building crew has been busy over the last six weeks.  There has been lots of equipment, pounding and noise, resulting in the completion of the west-side abutment pile installation and concrete encasement. (I know this because that's what the city tells us!).  Quiet around here today.  (It is Friday afternoon after all).  I like the little floating work bench with the saw horses.  Much more to come before this project is finished.
