Scarborough

We were in Scarborough for the day. Not because we wanted an outing but because our friend wanted us to go and spend the day with her. Her husband died just before Christmas and she was dreading the day as it was his birthday. Fortunately we were able to go and there was nothing in the diary that couldn't be changed. I know that she really appreciated us being with her. We went down to the harbour, a place he liked to go, and had a lovely lunch in the Italian restaurant there and toasted his memory.

A late blip as by the time we got back we felt really drained.
