Lenten Rose

Very rainy day today.  We took a walk to the Awareness Garden and the blooms on these lenten roses were hanging low, weighted down with water droplets.

I purchased a little add on macro lens for my camera and it arrived today.  I took a lot of very bad photos with it.  It will be fun to try to figure out how to get the shot I want.  I think I will try using a tripod next.

This photo is the best of a bad lot.  

(Oh, and I learned today that hellebore and lenten rose are the same thing... I never knew!)
