Laptop disaster yesterday, do not pass Go. Today working from the old machine.

It was all about the SLDC planning committee meeting at Kendal Town Hall today, ultimately deciding the fate of The Park.  A tense debate swung from one point of view to the other as me and around 20 other Park volunteers listened from the Public Gallery, Councillors beneath us. I had to leave just as they got around to the nitty gritty, needing to get back to collect Em from school. A message arrived on my mobile as Em and I stepped into our home. 
"Passed. We are safe"
I heard later that it was a unanimous decision.
I might have raised a glass or two!
