Where the Light Gets In

Sleuth living

Cyrille (centre) turned 40 two weeks ago. It was time we did something about it and his girlfriend had organised a session for a select few of us at HintHunt.

We split up into two teams of three and were locked in a room that was a reconstituted crime scene. We had sixty minutes to find the clues that would allow us to get out of the room, if possible with the name of the killer.

Codes to decipher allowing us to open boxes containing keys that we used to open other rooms and drawers hiding flashlights to read inscriptions on the wall in the dark, finishing with an exercise in mental arithmetic allowed us to get out of the room with... ten seconds to spare! We wouldn't have done it without hints given through a screen by the game master - but every team gets them, more or less.

For the record, the other team didn't get out in time...
