Strawberries and Cream

Another quiet day. A morning visit from the Gas Man and then a disastrous couple of hours in the kitchen. Am trying very hard to stick to the gluten-free diet but have been missing my sweet treats. So today I bought some gluten-free flour and had a go at baking my own biscuits. I don't quite know what went wrong but they ended up looking like flat Brandy Snaps! And I needed a chisel to get them off the baking tray!!

So today I did have to resort to that emergency flower vase! A cropped  Carnation close-up that reminds me of swirly strawberries and cream...
