.......new dishwasher delivered!
It is the same as the broken one but later version.  I only have room in my kitchen for a tabletop model, but it takes 6 place settings.
Good day all round as while I was waiting for my 4 hour 'slot' I managed to clean the bathroom and bedroom.
Celebrated by going to John Lewis for tea and scone (free voucher ran out today) and on the way home bought a new suitcase.  Not the one I saw yesterday but even better!
Now going to prepare a roast chicken joint and veg and feel a bit smug!
