Shepherds delight

Funny day today. Beautifully hot and sunny, then around tea time, tremendous rain and a few lightning strikes.

Driving home, the flooding on some of the roads was so bad that the fire brigade were out with boats! Sadly there was nowhere to pull off the road, or I'm sure that would have been my blip!

After all that I thought there might be a good sunset and shot of to a spot I'd found earlier, above the Thames. I wasn't disappointed and it finally went down between the trees silohetting the cranes at Gravesend. All in all, a nice end to the day.
