Tall-masted

One of my friends posted a link on Facebook on Thursday about a tall-masted ship that had sailed up the Forth & Clyde Canal and was moored at Speirs Wharf in Glasgow. As it happened, I read this while I was in my way into Glasgow for something else. so a quick change of plan was called for.

Once the necessities were over in the city centre, I walked up to Speirs Wharf only to find that the ship had sailed on... or so I thought. In the  event, it was moored just a short walk along the Glasgow Branch of the Canal.
