Cooking lesson

This morning we set off around the lake in a small boat. It was a lovely leisurely pace going past all the Chinese fishing nets and watching life on the banks.

We eventually carried at a rather smart house and alighted to be greeted by two Indian ladies who run a cookery school and home stay. These two ladies hosted Rick Stein when he was making his Curry programme. They taught him how to make Keralan Fish Curry. He then went away and turned it into Keralan Prawn curry; he never paid them or even sent them a copy of the book which has sold millions and mentions their names.

They gave us a lovely demonstration and then we ate the most beautiful meal. I have put on so much weight with all this beautiful food. What a gracious couple of ladies.
