Giant african land snails

This is Peter in the box and Wendy I'm holding.
I've had them nine weeks now and they have grown an extra twirl on their shell in that time.

These are giant land snails and will grow ALOT bigger over the years. They can live 15years.


They are hermaphrodits. They have both male and female organs.
When clusters of eggs are produced. Usually around 100 at a time. They are usually white and about the size of half a tictac. ( we haven't had any yet)

Peter and Wendy love cucumber and lettuce. I've tried lots of fruit and veg. But they seem to enjoy these the most. They also have cuttle fish. Which is pure calcium and is great for their shells.
