SAVED THE DAY..

...or should I say the evening. I invited a few friends to help give my sister and brother-in -law a send off back to their home in England after a three month stay here.
 When the electricity went off at about 5 o'clock I popped the Cape Chicken curry into this colourful "wonder cooker". The rice was cooked in a basic steamer that I covered with cloths and we were able to enjoy a warm meal. These wonder cookers are so useful and can be used as slow cookers too. They are made by women who need an income.
