Endangered Species?

I not sure if it was this particular chaffinch that woke me up at 3.15am with loud singing, but it certainly sounded like him. And he doesn't look at all repentant. Just as well I'm too lazy to get out of bed and look, otherwise I might be trying out my catapult!
