Candlelight

My back was much better today which was good as I'd arrange to meet up with Roz, Ann & Baxter for a few beers this afternoon. It was lovely to catch up with them again, especially Roz who is in Edinburgh for the week on holiday. We visited a number of pubs around the Royal Mile including "The Castle Arms", "The Jolly Judge", "The Royal McGregor", "OX184" and finally "http://www.theholyrood.co.uk/" for burgers (and beer of course). We also popped into Deacon Brodies but they didn't have any good beers on tap and there were no spare table so we didn't stay.

Today's Blip was taken in the back room at Holyrood 9a, I love the large pile of candle wax under the candles. I had obviously had a few drinks before arriving as I chose "The Mighty" burger from the menu which is "2 6oz beef patties, smoked bacon, emmental cheese, garlic mayo", I'd fancied trying it before but never felt brave enough to tackle 2 burgers, I surprised myself in that I managed it without too much of a struggle, it was very good.
